Swimming analysis using a SwIMU measuring device
Láznička, Jakub ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Bátorová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the inertial sensor for measuring swimmers. The work contains a description of the possibility of performing swimming performance analyzes. In the practical part, a pilot measurement was performed and a detailed manual was created containing a description of accessories, the measurement process and the methodology of subsequent evaluation. An external database in MS Excel was created to compare the evaluated measurements, used to sort data with the possibility of statistical processing.
Measuring unit for race swimmers motion analysis
Kumpán, Pavel ; Hrbáček, Jan (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with a design of the computational method for the analysis of swimmers training with the use of an inertial measurement unit. The developed algorithm uses quaternion-based Unscented Kalman filter and merges accelerometer and gyroscope measurements. The proposed method enables analysis of velocity, acceleration and inclination of a swimmer. Verification of the method was based on an underwater video camera capturing and a tethered velocity meter.
Measuring of Vehicle Instant Velocity
Štencel, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The theoretical part of this paper summarizes the methods for motion analysis in an image. Inspected in detail are the methods used for motion detection in the image sequences. The practical part is focused on finding the significant points in the image (the targeting reticles on the body of the vehicle) which are then used to calculate the speed of the vehicle.
Robust Detection of Moving Objects in Video
Klicnar, Lukáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Motion segmentation is an important process for separating moving objects from the background. Common methods usually assume fixed camera, other approaches exist as well, but they are usually very computational intensive. This work presents an approach for scene segmentation to regions with coherent motion, which works faster than similar methods and it is capable of online processing with no prior knowledge of objects or camera. The main assumption is that the points belonging to a single objects are moving together and this applies as well in the opposite direction. The proposed method is based on tracking of feature points and searching for groups with similar motion by using RANSAC-based algorithm. Short-range repair of broken tracks is applied to increase the overall robustness of tracking. Found clusters are subsequently processed to represent separate moving objects.
Mapping the Motion of People by a Stationary Camera
Bartl, Vojtěch ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to obtain information on the motion of people in a scene from the record of the stationary camera. The procedure to detect exceptional events in the scene was designed. Exceptional events can be fast-moving persons, or persons moving in di erent places than everyone else in the scene. To trace the motion of persons, two algorithms were applied and tested - Optical flow and CAMSHIFT. The analysis of the resulting motions is performed by monitoring the progress of motion, and its comparison with the other motions in the scene. The analysis result is represented by detected exceptional motions that can be found in the video. The areas where the motion occurs in the scene, and where the motion is the most common are also described together with the motion direction analysis. The exceptional motion parts extracted from the video represent the main result of the work.
Interest Points Tracking in Video Sequence of Non-stationary Camera
Studený, Pavel ; Davídek, Daniel (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of tracking feature points earned from videosequences of hand helded camera. The work is focused on the case of moving camera and static background, and events that are associated with this case and can occur. There is studied the movement of the camera, which is given its direction and speed. The aim of this work is the election and the subsequent implementation of three fundamentally different methods suitable for tracking feature points in case of moving camera and their comparison according to set criteria. On the basis of comparison will be under pre-defined conditions chosen algorithm that is best able to deal with tracing these points.
Development of equipment for body posture analysis
Simulation of Robotic Search of Lost Radiation Sources
Cihlář, Miloš ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
Simulátory, společnostmi zabývající se robotikou hodně využívané, hrají důležitou roli při výzkumu robotů. Zrychlují, zjednodušují, zlevňují a usnadňují vývoj softwaru a algoritmů. Magisterská práce se proto zabývá návrhem systému, založeného na ROS2 a Gazebo simulátoru, umožňující simulaci pozemních robotů ve vnějším prostředí s možností hledat ztracené radiační zdroje. Práce navrhuje několik metod vytváření prostředí v Gazebo simulátoru včetně návrhu prostředí z mračna bodů a je vytvořen model čtyřkolového, smykově řízeného mobilního pozemního robota. Chování robota v simulátoru bylo ověřeno a upraveno pomocí teoretického dynamického popisu robota. Před simulací algoritmů pro hledání ztracených radiačních zdrojů je navržena metoda sledování referenční trajektorie pomocí proporcionálně integračního (PI) a lineárně kvadratického (LQ) regulátoru a navrhuje metodu k simulaci zdroje radiace a jeho měření. Hledání radiačního zdroje jsou použity dvě typově odlišné metody, kdy jedna je založena na prozkoumání celé oblasti a vytváří mapu radiace, a druhá metoda založená na částicovém filtru aktivně hledá ztracený zdroj záření.
Measurement unit for sports analysis with inertial sensors
Dugas, Martin ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Kumpán, Pavel (advisor)
Master's thesis is dealing with desgin of a measuring unit incorporating inertial sensors, used for analysis in canoe sprint. Data from a three-axis accelerometer and a three-axis gyroscope were combined using an extended Kalman filter, yielding speed, roll, pitch and yaw of the boat and stroke rate. Calculated values were verified by a GPS. Furthermore, parameters describing dynamic behaviour of the system were identified, allowing an inclusion of dynamic quantities like force and power into the analysis.
